Buddhist Views on Happiness
Dr Artur Przybyslawski - University of Lodz, Poland
Taking a philosophical perspective, the talk will explore the buddhist understanding as to how happiness can be achieved and sustained. Happiness is here seen to depend on taking the right perspective on the world and experiencing it in the right way. This change of perspective, linked to the experience of emptiness, can then result in more joy in everyday life and in attaining lasting happiness. |
