| 13-15 May 2010: Weekend Course: The Heart of Buddhism |
| Teacher: |
Matt Huddleston (London/Exeter) |
| Description: |
The weekend course will focus on the most central topic within Buddhism: the Refuge. It is about the question what aspects of our lives we can really rely upon: what can be the basis of real happiness - happiness that does not depend on outer conditions?
In four talks Matt, experienced lay buddhist teacher from the South of the UK, will highlight some of the most important aspects, including the Three
Jewels, the Three Roots of Realisation and the importance of relying on methods time-tested by a living Buddhist tradition.
These topics are particularly useful for people new to Buddhism. It is possible to attend individual talks. - No prebooking required.
