Space and Bliss

Space and Bliss is the title of a three-day course organised by the Diamond Way Buddhist Centre in Liverpool in cooperation with Liverpool Museums and will evolve around the new Buddhist exhibition within their Asia collection, which is going to open a few days before the event.

The course aims at people curious about the new exhibition. Relating to various museum exhibits, it will introduce the basic ideas and ideals of Buddhism, its symbolism, and meditation practices.

Visitors are free to attend the whole course or single talks. On the weekend between the sessions guided tours through the exhibition will provide further information.

The highlight of the course will be the visit and public talk by the highly renowned Danish Lama Ole Nydahl on Monday evening.

It will not be possible to stay overnight in the Buddhist Centre. However there is a full range of accommodation available in Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

If you want to stay in the city centre early booking is advised, as the city is a popular tourist destination at most times of year and it can be difficult to get last minute, inexpensive accommodation.

Accommodation outside the city is usually easily reached by public transport, but it would be best to check that this is the case before booking.
